Pre Wax Tips
Let's face it, getting waxed is not cheap, so it is important to get the best results every time. It is important to prepare for your first or next service a few days ahead of time. If it’s your first time or if it has been a while since your last wax, it is a good idea to make sure the hair is at least 1/4“ long but not much more than 1/2” long. This is especially true for dense areas such as the pubic bush. You will want to exfoliate daily for a few days before your service. I recommend using a sisal washcloth, you can also use a loofah or similar gentle scrubber. This will help to remove any dead skin cells and prepare the skin for the hair removal. About an hour before it is always good to take a warm shower. Area must be clean and free of any foreign matter. Wipes will be provided if you need a little extra cleansing prior to your service. It is important to not apply any type of oil after your shower. If there is too much oil on the skin the wax will not stick to the hair. Relax & Get Waxed!

I recommend applying Aloe Life Skin Gel Mist or Skin Gel daily to help heal the skin and Azulene Oil from Parissa daily for a few weeks to help prevent ingrown hairs. As soon as the skin is no longer tender and before hair growth is seen, you should start using a sisal washcloth, loofa, or other gentile exfoliating cloth daily to keep the skin exfoliated, this will also help to prevent ingrown hairs. After having underarms waxed, DO NOT USE DEODORANT for 2-3 days. Take a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and spray 3-4 times a day. This will help to kill any bacteria and reduce odor. Avoid exercise, swimming, hot tubs, steam rooms, and extreme sun exposure for at least 48 hours. I would also avoid any body sprays or cologne on the freshly waxed area for approximately 48 hours. If you are having any intimate waxing avoid sexual activity for 24 hours.
